Will buy another
Very happy with this thing. It fits, and looks great. Battery life is excellent. I wanted to wait to review it until I put it through some paces, and subjected it to some decent recoil. I can say that just like all vortex products I have this is another great product. I like the anti glare multi coated lenses. This is daytime bright, and doesn't starburst like some others. Knowing that it is covered by the vortex VIP warranty gives me peace of mind.

Rugged, durable, reliable.
Vortex has one of the BEST warranties for their products first of all. This holographic is very clear, and had zero issues with holding zero. NV compatible. Definitely a good sight for people with astigmatism as well like myself. This thing is the real deal. Love it. I would highly recommend this holographic to anyone that is in the market for an accurate, well made (IN THE US OF A BABY) optic.

This sight works as advertised and works for the application it was designed for flawlessly. The eye fatigue from this is non existent. The size and weight are not issues it works well.

Holographic Alternative
This item deserves an 8 cause it doesn't bring high innovation to the holographic game, overall an amazing optic but there can be improvements.

UH-1
I use this optic every day while on Patrol. The design is simple yet elegant. The durability is unmatched, especially with it being made in the USA. The allure for this optic is the chevron on the bottom of the reticle for mechanical offset. This makes quick close range shooting a breeze.

Great combo
Put this sight along with a Vortex 3x micro magnifier on a Springfield Hellion. Line up perfectly and work great together as expected. Glad they both have quick release mounts built in as the setup is too tall to cowitness at all with the Hellion's built in pop up iron sights. If everything else failed, could quickly detach both to deploy and use the pop up irons. Great clarity and field of view.

Great holographic sight
I have had great luck with vortex gear. I have multiple razor scopes for long range gun and I wanted to try something different for my short range and .22 AR for practice. I have an astigmatism and the flare from this scope is not bad for me. The second generation supports night vision but I have not had a chance to use it with this model. I would definitely look at this as you cross shop with EOtech and other holo sights.

Excellent optic....
Excellent optic. Straightforward setup and works like a champ. This is my first electro optic for a rifle and could not be happier. Just be sure to zero in properly.

Great holographic
This is an Eotech killer in my opinion. Like most everything else vortex gets involved in, they did a bang up job with this. I had the gen 1 for a few years and have loved it, even tho vortex announced a week after i got it they were coming out with a gen 2 model. Story of my life. Finally, the time came to get a second holographic. The window size on this is much bigger than first gen. I also like the tool less battery cap. I have this paired with a vortex 6x magnifier. Great set up. It may seem a little more blocky than an Eotech, but functionally id prefer this. If you need an instagram optic you may be happy with Eotech. Takes up about the same foot print so.. take that and do with it what you will..
