The all-new SIC Darkhorse is stepping up your game with its Vortex™ construction, fusing the highest quality soft board technology with composite stringers and core materials to create a fun yet high-performance board. The Dark Horse has a 100% waterproof EPS core, the bottom and top skin are reinforced with high quality Vectra Ply polyethylene to aid in speed, stiffness and durability. The rails are a high density EVA to increase durability while remaining comfortable on your arms when paddling. A key differentiating factor and main performance feature is the Dullies™ (double wooden stringers). This gives the board a unique rigidity without sacrificing its lively, pop vibe!

The Darkhorse features a glass-wrapped EVA core and wooden I-Beam stringer making it unlike other soft boards on the market today. This glass/foam hybrid board's feel creates a fun, lively, high-performance feeling. Its FCS Fusion compatible fin boxes are glassed-in and PVC reinforced to give you maximum lateral stability and drive through the turns. The foam-backed HDPE skin makes the Darkhorse durable and offers more protection when you get tossed in the shore break.
