Styrka's largest offering in their flagship optic series, the impressive 15x56 S9-Series ED Binoculars sport a high magnification and massive objectives intended for open-range hunters who require powerful optics for spotting game at distance. They are engineered with complementary technologies to produce an optic that is built to perform well in low-light conditions and in the harshest environments. First is the use of extra low-dispersion (ED) glass in the lens elements to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. Next are compact Abbe-Koenig roof prisms that are phase-corrected to improve image contrast, clarity, and brightness. The optical path is fully multi-coated with their proprietary SXL-MAX anti-reflection coatings which increase light transmission, image contrast and sharpness, and provide true color rendition. This all translates to bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color across the entire wide field of view - especially at low light such as dawn and dusk, and heavily overcast skies.
