La Machine 3 boasts a slightly trimmer waist than ‘La Machine original,’ whose cult status inspired the production of an entire family of skis in its name. This slimmer version offers similar float as compared to its fatter sibling, but in a more versatile package—for ample flotation on the deepest of days and nimble handling when the weather's high and dry. Its progressive, rockered shape allows for hook-free pivoting and surfing across any & all snow you may encounter on your ski-touring adventures.

• Full Strength Sidewall, for the best-possible edge hold and protection of the wood core
• Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions
• Anti-Chip Micro Cap protects the tips and tails from wear and tear
• The "Mustache Flex" offers stability underfoot for solid edge hold, with a smooth, progressive flex in the tips and tails to easily absorb all the different bumps and snow debris the mountain throws at you
• Extended tip and tail rocker + low camber, for optimal float in soft snow, and effortless turn initiation and smearing in variable conditions
• Paulownia is an extremely lightweight wood core with excellent strength properties. Paulownia provides beautiful flex and vibration absorption without adding bulk, making it an ideal wood core for a touring ski that performs just as well on the uphill as on the downhill. Fun fact: Paulownia and Karuba wood share near identical properties and are distinguished by the region in which the wood grows.
