Fits really small

While I normally love Brooks running gear, I wasn?t a huge fan of this particular running shirt. I got my usual size and the fit was about two sizes too small for me. The neckline is also incredibly tight and it feels restrictive. I wish the material wasn?t mostly polyester since polyester tends to hold odors and isn?t as breathable. I do appreciate the finger thumb holes and wish more of my running shirts had that feature since it keeps my hands warm on cold days. The bright orange color is good for visibility but it?s not a color I see myself reaching for. If you?re looking for a compression shirt this would be a great base layer for cold winter runs.

Great shirt!

What a great shirt! In receiving the shirt the color was bright but for the primary use it?s helpful to make sure you?re seen when outside and possibly running on roadways. I got the orange color and it?s vibrant. The shirt isn?t the softest and isn?t made of a thicker cloth weight but does have a good feel when wearing. I got a Medium size and the fit of the garment is more fitted and would need to size up if wanting more room. I was able to move without feeling restricted or the shirt pulling as I run or workout. I don?t know that I?ll use them much as the shirt isn?t going to provide a ton of warmth but it does have thumb holes to help in keeping your hands warm when cooler. It will be nice during warmer months as it breathes well and isn?t heavy to wear. Washing and after doing so the shirt still looks and feels the same as brand new. Still early to determine if it will stand up to further wear but so far so good. Really excited about the High Point long sleeve and looking to get some more!

This is a nice, thin long sleeve that pairs great with layers or a vest. It is a bit thin, and runs small, so definitely size up. The material is quite comfortable and soft. I like the length of the shirt, not too short and not too long and the thumb holes are especially useful for winter time use. I love the versatility of this shirt and that it can be worn by itself or layered.

I thought this was a very thin shirt! It?s see through which isn?t ideal. I love that color is bright so perfect for wearing outside to be noticed. The sizing was true to size and the design was simple.

Size up

First thing I noticed besides the loud orange color was the fabric. It was thinner than I?d like since I do run in a colder climate. Despite my first impression, I wanted to give it a fair chance. The fit it definitely in the smaller side. It?s a bit tight around the arms and midsection which caused it to ride up a bit. I did layer it with my usual running gear for my morning runs. The fabric feels soft but it didn?t not provide the insulation and moisture wicking abilities. It may work better for a brisk day but not my go to for layering in the cold. Otherwise the shirt does hold up well in the washing machine. The color is loud but a necessity for the time of day I go for my run as it increases viability. I just wish it was a smidge thicker and a lot bigger in size.

Perfect for layering and trail runs.

This High Point Long Sleeve feels great, wicks nicely, and is perfect for cold weather layering. It does run on the small side. For me a Medium feels like a tight Small. But this works well for base layering. I really appreciate the thumb holes in the sleeves, and the high visibility color. I was a little disappointed in the percentage of synthetic material. I was expecting more marino wool, but this is mostly polyester. But, for athletic wear, that should not have come as a surprise. The neck was a bit tight around the throat, if I could change anything it would be a looser neck. Since this runs small, perhaps getting a size up would help with the tightness. My favorite feature is the layering functionality and the high visibility--especially good for trail runs during hunting season!

Love this shirt. Bright orange so I?m more noticeable outside when running in the neighborhood. Fits perfectly and wicks the sweat away for a comfortable work out. I use it for outdoor and indoor exercise and it?s great for both. No complaints!

My husband went to use this shirt and he said that the fabric wasn?t very soft. He also mentioned that the neck opening was too small so it was really tight while he was wearing it.

Very slim fit for my athletic build

I was really excited to get the High Point Long Sleeve, but was super disappointed in the fit. I got a medium, my usual size and it fit too snug for me to wear. I wish I could try it out on my runs because the material feels great and I think it would be a great addition for my runs in our Southern California ?winter? mornings! I would definitely suggest sizing up a size or even two depending on how you like your running shirts to fit/your body type. My body type is more of an athletic build, so the slim fit really doesn?t work for me. Although I?m disappointed for not being able to try it out properly, I?d still recommend Brooks for your running needs and will just keep in mind the sizing for next time!

Excellent running shirt

This shirt fits true to size. I am 6?4, 230lbs and it was a good fit. It?s a simple design, and I like the bright orange for running outside. While running outside in the cold Michigan fall, it kept me warm enough to not need a hoodie, but anything colder than 60 degrees, this is a solid base layer. There was no chaffing or discomfort along my neck, elbows, or underarms like sometimes occurs with my other running gear. I wouldn?t make any modifications! This is an awesome shirt and I?ll be purchasing more!
